Liability Disclaimer

JOHNS CREEK IC CORP (“Johns Creek Islamic Center” or “JCIC”), a Georgia domestic nonprofit corporation, hosts student programs, including but not limited to Qur’an classes and Sunday School, solely for community benefit purposes. JCIC provides facilities, space, scheduling, and administrative coordination only and does not profit from, supervise, or control the instruction provided. Participation in these programs is voluntary. All monetary transactions are conducted directly between participants and the instructors, and JCIC does not collect, manage, or process any payments related to instruction.

By participating in classes hosted at JCIC, each participant, and in the case of a minor, the parent or legal guardian, acknowledges and agrees that instruction is provided independently by individual instructors or volunteers and not directly by JCIC.

To the fullest extent permitted by Georgia law, participants and/or parents or legal guardians hereby voluntarily waive, release, and hold harmless JCIC, its officers, directors, board members, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, demands, losses, or causes of action arising out of or related to participation in these programs or presence on the premises, except where liability cannot be waived by law. This waiver applies to both the participant and, where applicable, the parent or legal guardian and remains effective for the duration of participation in the programs.

For participants who are minors, the parent or legal guardian is solely responsible for the safety, supervision, and well-being of the minor at all times while on the premises. Participants who are eighteen (18) years of age or older are solely responsible for their own safety and well-being.

All participants, and parents or legal guardians on behalf of minors, agree to obey all applicable laws, comply with JCIC rules and policies, respect capacity and safety limitations, maintain cleanliness, and contribute to the general care and upkeep of JCIC facilities.

Participation in classes is subject to applicable city, fire, and safety regulations, including maximum occupancy limits. Enrollment and attendance may therefore be limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
